Footy Fans

The end is nigh guys. The forum is dying and unless we see some positive change the site will be shut down for good.

Gameknot has failed to attract members
Facebook has failed to attract members
The admins have failed to attract members

So now we need your help. We are looking for intelligent enthusiastic footy fans with something to say and who will keep coming back to say it.

If each of us introduced such a person that would, obviously, double our numbers. That would be a good start but still we would want more to make Footy Fans a viable alternative to other footy forums that are out there.

So we are also looking for inspiration. We need fresh new ideas to help keep Footy Fans alive. If you can think of anything original so much the better but we will consider anything you've seen and liked elsewhere.

Come on guys, don't let lethargy defeat us!

We need to use the fact that the forum has been open for years and has always had a good bunch of lads on.

We need show that this forum is special compared to the usual shit you see posted.

If each of us concentrated on a certain club to target then we could all sign up for different club forums and ask them to join us. You need to get to teams like Hull who will be on a big high at the moment.

You're right Seedy. We need to emphasise our quality and our friendliness despite our low numbers.

Admins don't take kindly to people signing up to their forums and then poaching their members however so be careful how you go about it.

The funny thing is that the admin's on here are never on the forum and they are pinning the forums future on us who haven't been given the chance of responsiblity. Come on lads get on your arse and do some work.

I'd gladly step down as admin and let someone else take over if it meant the forum getting back on it's feet.
