Scots eye summer England fixture

Postby Poolkew on Tue Nov 13, 2007 8:44 am

Scottish Football Association chief executive Gordon Smith will look to resurrect a fixture against England should both miss out on Euro 2008.
"It would be great to have it, even if it was on a biannual basis," he said. "It's something that we would look at.

"But we are not contemplating not qualifying just yet.

"Scotland won the Commonwealth Games on Friday and, if we beat Italy, it could be one of the best eight days in Scottish sport."

be a great match, they should bring it back as a six nations atyle tournament with the home nations.
