I would go with Andy Cole on 99/00 who was unstoppable on that game...

Bruce Dyer, Alan Mahon, Graham Kavanagh in 93/94 (showing my age)

I have fond fond memories of Geoff Pitcher in CM3. You could pick him up for next to nothing from his conference team (forgotten which one now) and he would perform for you week in week out right up to Premiership level. As a CAM he scored bagfuls of goals and his creativity was exceptional.

I had a tear in my eye when he won his one and only England cap! (I even wrote a poem about it! Shhh )

Yeah I find it fun with foreign teams especially to give the players mad names based around their real name.

I guess I can match that, since as early as their has been an editor available with the game I have had a 'career' on FM/CM and put my self into the game each time and play through until retirement

Yeah I've had a go at that myself but I prefer to stick to the reality of the game. I mean the developers work so hard at getting everything perfect it seems a shame to muddy the waters with my size 9 boots

I think everyone has their own 'sad' little things that they do involving the game. Players you sign and then have to check them out in real life, getting FM confused with real life and (like i did yesterday) wonder why Vagner love isnt playing for fulham!

Yep it can be embarrassing when you and your mates are discussing the teamsheet in the pub and you blurt out "Is Ronaldhino injured then?"

yep done that before, or someone asks who such and such is playing at the weekend and you give them the FM ixtures instead of real life...
