England 'took rivals too lightly'

Postby Poolkew on Fri Nov 16, 2007 10:26 am

Overconfidence will be to blame if England fail to reach Euro 2008, says Croatia coach Slaven Bilic.
If Russia win in Israel on Saturday, Steve McClaren's team will be all but eliminated from next summer's finals in Austria and Switzerland.

But Bilic, whose team are top of Group E and play England next Wednesday, told BBC One's Football Focus: "The group was difficult.

"Maybe your approach was a little bit too self-confident in this campaign."

Lesson learned? Um.....no.

England got what they deserved. **** all. Crouch didn't deserve to have that ***** playing around him tonight, thought he was excellent and took his goal superbly.
