Agree. Ashton, Warnock, Glen Johnson (Chelsea ???? ) and Joe Hart are all bizarre choices though, for one reason or another.

Ashton has had his poorest season for ages (talented player, but perhaps one too many injuries now), Warnock wasn't good enough to be our back up left back, and is positionally woeful. Decent on the ball and in the tackle but not an international defender IMO, Johnson is utter shite - I've seen Riise take him apart and he's no winger, and I'd be suprised if Hart is in the top 10 English goalies, never mind the top 3.

Nice to see different players being given chances, but the right players would be even better.
