David Beckham will return to the England side after a four-game absence for the friendly international against Austria in Vienna on Friday.

LA Galaxy's right-sided midfielder Beckham, 32, is set to win his 98th cap after recovering from a knee problem.

Central midfielder Frank Lampard is to replace Gareth Barry, while goalkeeper Scott Carson will win his first cap with Paul Robinson making way.

Joleon Lescott will play at centre-back and Wayne Bridge at left-back.
